Does this problem still occur with Ubuntu 10.04 Beta 1?

Please run the installer in debug mode (click on "Try Ubuntu" then type
`ubiquity -d` in a terminal window). Run the installer until it crashes
and then type `ubuntu-bug 543124` in the terminal window.
