Public bug reported:

The ubuntu is not booting with kernel 2.6.20-10-generic # 2 SMP
kernel. However, there is no problem with booting 2.6.20-9-generic
kernel.

While trying to boot, the process goes on for till the end (the slider
fills out all the blocks), and then instead of the splash screen, it
goes to console mode and reports failure to start the X server, with the
following error message. After I ask it to continue without the X
server, it reports the same error message repeatedly.

(running boot scripts /etc/rc.local)
bcm43xx error
microcode: bcm43xx_microcode_5.fw not available or load failed

I am running on a i386 dell inspiron 5160 (with pentium 4m) computer. I
have already submitted my hardware profile after installing/testing
feisty herd4.
