Changed from uuid to dev name because after installing Ubuntu, system
would not boot, researched error on web, found others having same error,
ended up changing from UUID to /dev/sd[x] fixed it, changed by going
into grub menu (esc at boot), choosing boot line, hitting e to edit,
replacing uuid with /dev/sd[x]. There were other files i had to mod as
well once I got the operating system to boot, but once I changed them
everything worked fine, except I had to keep changing the grub conf
every time I got a kernel update, and I do not at this time remember the
files that had to be modded. Will try to find the thread on Ubuntu
forums that helped me and get specifics.
