This error (buffer_copy) indicates a problem when writing data to disk (disk
full, disk error, ...)
I'm closing this report because it is not a bug with dpkg or Ubuntu and it was
a while ago, so I guess you fixed it since then. If it's still an issue, don't
hesitate to reopen.
