The problem occurred twice again today. The first time after waking the system from suspended state. Wireless connection couldn't be re-established, the system froze after a few seconds and rebooted.
After that reboot I noticed that the system had connected to the wireless hotspot on the 2nd floor (~10% signal strength) and didn't even find the usual hotspot on the 3rd floor (less than 5 meters away from me). Hooking the system up to a gigabit switch and clicking the button in wicd to connect through eth0 caused another freeze and reboot. -- System crash possibly due to wifi driver https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/544040 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
