I'm attaching requested information with system booted with its original xorg.conf restored. No custom xorg.conf, as stated in related bugs and question 9.10 is just installed.
I'm trying to reproduce issues reported in See Bug #522077 and Answer #105202: 1. Try to open tty1 with ctrl+alt+f1: black screen. 2. Try to use 'Normal' visual effects: fails. 3. Suspend and resume: black screen is not responding, then switch tty7, switch tty1, switch tty7 again and I'm back to X session. Next I'm reporting this comment and will attach requested information. -- Unnecesary xorg.conf in some 9.10 installations causes problems https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/544884 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
