Public bug reported: Sfxr is able to create retro sound effects for games. It is meant to help entrants in speed-programming contests like PyWeek and Lundum Dare to include basic sound effects. The idea was that they could just hit a few buttons in this application and get some largely randomized effects that were custom in the sense that the user could accept/reject each proposed sound.

I have also contacted the lead developer to help make the upstream tarball suitable (http://code.google.com/p/sfxr/issues/detail?id=1). ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Assignee: Bart Veldstra (ghostonline) Status: New ** Tags: needs-packaging ** Changed in: ubuntu Assignee: (unassigned) => Bart Veldstra (ghostonline) ** Description changed: Sfxr is able to create retro sound effects for games.
