Please boot the live CD, open the run dialog (alt-F2) and type `ubiquity
-d` to start the installer in debug mode. Repeat the partitioning steps
you took before and when the installer crashes, open the run dialog
again and type `apport-collect 545788`. Doing this will attach the
debugging logs to this bug report, which we'll need to fix the bug
you're encountering.
