I can confirm this problem. Steps to reproduce:
- setup to always show notifications
- have a library with at least one song without a cover
- start to play
- hit next button until you reach the song without a cover
You will notice that it has the cover of the previous song (if you do this
enough quickly)
If you wait for the previous notification to disappear and press next, the
rhythmbox icon is used (this is ok).
