Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: gcc-4.4

Sorry if the bug is not new. I cannot see it in the automatically
generated list.

Ubuntu Lucid Beta failed to upgrade properly. First time started only in
command line. Had to run apt-get update and apt-get install -f from
there.

This bug was generated when I tried to update again from inside Lucid.
