I was unable to reproduce the issue with either the version of xfce4
-weather-plugin from hardy-updates, 0.6.2-1ubuntu1.2, or the version in
jaunty-updates, 0.6.2-1ubuntu2.9.04.1; when disconnecting the network
connection, top indicated that it was using around 1.3% of the CPU and
it was possible to interact with the applet.

I can confirm that the versions in hardy-proposed, 0.6.2-1ubuntu1.3, and
jaunty-proposed, 0.6.2-1ubuntu2.9.04.2, don't reintroduce the problem
and continue to function as expected. Marking verification-done.
