@Omer I think you're referring to the sound indicator.
Yes, the alert-state session indicator is to draw attention to the
session menu, where a user restarts, after updates have been installed.
We are still iterating iconography and language, though we are in string
freeze so any change would require an exception. I'll mark the bug
wontfix for now, but feel free to continue to discuss alternatives here,
or on the Ayatana list.
