Seems like the channel can't be tuned. Have you checked that the channels.conf has the correct format (it should if created by gnome-dvb- setup) and the channel has the correct tuning data in channels.conf. You can create a channels.conf with dvb-apps scan program which should yield the correct tuning data, but has some encoding issues with channel names.
