(Copying my comments from the original defect, #543801): Installing Mythbuntu 10.04 Beta 1. I am installing a standalone Backend, which doesn't have a remote control (no surprise there). Installation goes fine up to the 82% mark, then hangs displaying "Configuring Infrared Devices". This is on a system that runs 9.04 just fine. I tried the daily build a week ago (13 March) and it had the exact same bug, but I didn't know where to report daily build bugs.
Since this one will prevent just about anyone from building a Primary Backend, I think it should be a pretty high priority to fix. If you have a daily build that you think fixes this and you would like me to test, please let me know. -- Installation freezes at "Configuring Infrared Devices" https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/544711 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
