I just tried USB Creator for the first time on 9.10 and can confirm this bug is still there. Everything seems to work fine if you don't use the format option. Having read some of the other comments here I'm a little bit perplexed that some people think a workaround is good enough. If a user interface displays an option to format, that is exactly what it should do.
