Btw, ZTE-MF633 3G modem works only if PIN code is turned off in SIM card - Ubuntu 9.10 doesn't offer to enter PIN code even if file /etc/modprobe.d/zte-mf633.conf with line "options usbserial vendor=0x19d2 product=0x0031" exist.
I'm attaching the zte-mf633.conf file to this bugreport - it seems I should include this file into baltix-default-settings package for Baltix 9.10 (Karmic) Ubuntu developers, please tell me if "options usbserial vendor=0x19d2 product=0x0031" setting in /etc/modprobe.d/ can cause any problems in Ubuntu 10.04, because I don't wanna to create problems for our users when they will upgrade Baltix 9.10 to Ubuntu 10.04. ** Attachment added: "Put this file into /etc/modprobe.d/ to detect ZTE-MF633 modem in Ubuntu 9.10" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/41953876/zte-mf633.conf -- ZTE-MF633 3G modem isn't detected Ubuntu 9.10 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/542902 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
