Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: gnome-screensaver
steps to reproduce:
1. start some music playing
2. system -> lock screen
3. press mute button
4. led inside mutton button lights up, sound goes quiet
5. enter password to unlock
6. notification area shows sound unmuted, even though
a) no sound is heard through speakers, and
b) led on mute button indicates sound is muted
at this point, the state of the hardware and the notification
area icon can be resynchronized by using the volume control
buttons (but not the mute button).
