I can't reproduce this. I have ws6 beta, build 39849. Latest udev,
initramfs-tools and module-init-tools. Granted, I'm using the current
git tree (newer than -10), but theres nothing in there that affects
LSI/MPT Fusion. It shows the LSI53C1030 controller being detected and
sda, and mounts it and continues through.
Can you try upgrading udev, module-init-tools and initramfs-tools to
recheck, and then run "sudo update-initramfs -u"?
