You probably mean Bug 521831 , which indeed fixes the problem (I tried it with the daily CD you linked) that the installation will not have the correct language at the end.
However, it does -not- fix the problem that the language will remain fixed to US-Layout for the rest of the installation process. Unlike if you select the keyboard layout manually, in this case the keyboard mapping is retained for the rest of the process.
