Thank you for taking the time to submit this bug report.
You can restore the "default them" from:
- Go to System > Preferences > Appearance and select theme "Human", which is
the one used in the version versions. You can also try to other new theme,
'Ambience'.
- In gnome-terminal, go to Edit > Profiles and select a default theme.
As for the icons being on the left, there is a opened report for this
already: 532633.
I think this answers your concerns, so I am marking this bug report as
invalid. Please change it back if you disagree.
