I have run the back trace again but this time with packages from the xorg-edgers ppa. I was using this ppa previously when I discovered the crash. I downgraded everything to the Lucid packages to test and make the bug report.
I updated the packages again to xorg-edgers to try the back trace and it seems to show more information this time. I don't know why there were all those warnings about the debug symbols in the previous back trace. ppa-purge was used to remove xorg-edgers. I also cleared the package cache and redownload/reinstalled the official Lucid packages. ** Attachment added: "back trace with xorg-edgers ppa packages" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/42182120/gdb-Xorg-xorg_edgers.txt -- Quadrapassel results in X crashing https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/549576 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
