@Daniel, I am unable to confirm your issue under Lucid, I can delete
with right click on panel and then mark on "Delete this panel" works
fine for me (using gnome-panel 2.29.92.1-0ubuntu3 version). Please could
you upgrade your Lucid system and then check if this issue is still
affecting you? Thanks!
