I agree, your problem doesn't seem to have anything to do with bug
527401. Russell, please be more careful. It looks more like what I'm
currently investigating as bug 539324 (although I realise that's
LVM/crypto not RAID), although I'm not sure yet since I have not yet
fully understood what's causing that bug.
