Public bug reported: Binary package hint: virtualbox-ose
While installing virtualbox-ose (3.0.8 from Karmic repos) with 2.6.31-20 DKMS fails to build kernel module because it can't find linux/bounds.h. After copying bounds.h from 2.6.31-19 to: /lib/modules/2.6.31-20-generic/build/include/linux/bounds.h all went well installing with apt-get and my virtual machine runs. Note that linux-headers-2.6.31-20-generic does provide bounds.h at: /usr/src/linux-headers-2.6.31-20-generic/include/linux/bounds.h Perhaps that path should be used instead? Or perhaps this is really a bug with the linux-headers package since 2.6.31-14 and -19 both had bounds.h under their /lib/modules paths.
