I got aggravated and wiped the whole thing, reinstalled and I've not had any problems since (other than losing all my customizations). Something was corrupted, it happened after a update. Thanks for looking into it, I'm very happy with the overall package other than the D.R.M. hassles in the multimedia dept (which is not the open source community fault.) Thanks for what you do. J.
