Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: sudo
When attempting to open Synaptic today, I accidentally typed in the
wrong password. (I remembered after I typed it that it was wrong).
GKsudo disappeared and never came back to prompt me for a second
attempt. Also, Synaptic never opened (and the process wasn't running).
I re-tried it again with the same result. When I attempted a 3rd time
and typed the password correctly, Synaptic opened.
I would expect that GKsudo would prompt me again for a password if I
typed in the wrong one, and once I typed in the right one that the
application would open.
