I've done some more research. Here is part of the output from "/lib/udev/cdrom_id /dev/sr0 --debug":
main: probing: '/dev/sr0' cd_inquiry: INQUIRY: [SONY ][CD-RW CRX140E ][1.0n] cd_profiles: GET CONFIGURATION: number of profiles -1068497968 cd_profiles: invalid number of profiles I turns out that the scsi call does not change the "header" variable used in the call to scsi_run_cmd. Perhaps there is something wrong with the ide-scsi emulation? I can successfully rip audio with cdparanoia, making hardware errors unlikely. -- Problem accessing the CD https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/502143 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
