Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: firefox
When starting Firefox on any other operating system (including pre-Lucid
versions of Ubuntu), the address bar is focused, so I can start typing
right away.
Firefox 3.6 on Ubuntu 10.04 beta does not do this. In fact, it doesn't
focus any text field (e.g. the search bar), so when I start typing the
text doesn't appear anywhere.
Typing in the address bar does work as expected when I:
- give it focus manually (clicking/tabbing)
- open a new tab within Firefox
I'm using an up to date Lucid beta with everything set to default.
** Affects: firefox (Ubuntu)
Importance: Undecided
Status: New
