You will need to gather the specifics as far as drivers, etc... from the info I will provide about the machine I am using. As I have checked the link you provided, and it is a little more involved than my capabilities at the moment. However, I understand this is not a machine specific problem, as many others have the same issue running different hardware/driver setups. I am using Acer desktop model: AM1610-B1304A. I connect to the internet using a Scientific Atlanta Webstar cable modem: DP2000. I am running a dual boot system: Windows Vista service pack 2, and Ubuntu 9.10. Each system has been and continues to be fully updated including any/all updates available specific to the relative system. the dual boot system is contained a single 500GB hard drive. I cannot provide and more hardware specific information other than provided. Feel free to ask for more info if needed specific to OS enviroment.
