Public bug reported: Binary package hint: netbook-launcher
I am using lucid-beta-1, with all updates, on an Acer Aspire One netbook. The netbook-launcher fonts have become white blocks after the last update. Up until that point they looked great. The blocks are different sizes, according to the character, but not even close to readable. Each character is just a single white rectangle, approximately the size of the letter. (note, I have adjusted my default font size to 8pt, but changing this back to 10pt only makes the blocks bigger) ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 10.04 Package: netbook-launcher 1:2.1.15-0ubuntu2 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 2.6.32-17.26-generic 2.6.32.10+drm33.1 Uname: Linux 2.6.32-17-generic i686 Architecture: i386 Date: Mon Mar 29 07:00:14 2010 ExecutablePath: /usr/bin/netbook-launcher InstallationMedia: Ubuntu-Netbook-Remix 9.10 "Karmic Koala" - Release i386 (20091028) MachineType: Acer AOA150 ProcCmdLine: BOOT_IMAGE=/boot/vmlinuz-2.6.32-17-generic root=UUID=e6dac96a-3567-4620-ad26-6a52866cf600 ro quiet splash ProcEnviron: LANG=en_US.utf8 SHELL=/bin/bash SourcePackage: netbook-launcher dmi.bios.date: 10/06/2008 dmi.bios.vendor: Acer dmi.bios.version: v0.3309 dmi.board.asset.tag: Base Board Asset Tag dmi.board.vendor: Acer dmi.board.version: Base Board Version dmi.chassis.type: 1 dmi.chassis.vendor: Chassis Manufacturer dmi.chassis.version: Chassis Version dmi.modalias: dmi:bvnAcer:bvrv0.3309:bd10/06/2008:svnAcer:pnAOA150:pvr1:rvnAcer:rn:rvrBaseBoardVersion:cvnChassisManufacturer:ct1:cvrChassisVersion: dmi.product.name: AOA150 dmi.product.version: 1 dmi.sys.vendor: Acer system: distro: Ubuntu codename: lucid architecture: i686 kernel: 2.6.32-17-generic ** Affects: netbook-launcher (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: apport-bug i386 lucid ubuntu-une -- Latest update makes fonts unreadable https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/550910 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
