** Description changed:

  Binary package hint: pidgin
+
+ When the satus goes to Away after some idle time, Pidgin changes my
+ status message without user's permisson, without allowing to choose the
+ message, and in a language the user's contacts do not necessarily
+ understand.

  From Tools -> Preferences -> Status/Idle

  I have:
  Auto/Away [check]
  Minutes [choose]
  Change status [check]
  Change status to [choose]

  However, I cannot choose which status message it will enforce on my
  accounts, or to just disable it.

  My contacts see a "I'm not here right now", which sound ridiculous for
  most of my contacts, to which I speak in a language rather than English.

  1. There is no menu entry to disable or change that message.

  2. After I touch the mouse or the keyboard, the status is restored this
  status message persists.
