Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: avidemux
Avidemux has completely broken A/V sync when dealing with mixed-rate
MPEG input. Frequent switching between 23.97 FPS and 29.97 FPS is common
with NTSC DVD source material, where 23.97 is used for progressive scan
sections, and 29.97 for interlaced sections. Attached is a playback from
mplayer on the same VOB files - notice the frequent detection of
framerate switching. Opening the files under Avidemux leads to
completely broken audio from the beginning, presumably because 29.97 is
used throughout.
** Affects: avidemux (Ubuntu)
