Sorry for a late reply. This was the only file in /var/log/dist-upgrade
It sometime ago, but I think I installed openoffice from an Ubuntu mirror I have uninstalled openoffice; the upgrades seem to happen without error and reinstalled openoffice and all seem to be well.
