I have an old Dell Inspiron

Beeing noisy J have upgraded from Karmic to Lynx Beta
Everything went well until grub2 asked me where to put grub. I think I should 
have checked sda but I also checked sda2 and sda5 and sda.

When I hit <ok> I could see some messages on the screen saying basically
"what you are doing is stupid" but the program continued anyway leaving
me with a perfect lynx but also with a nowaytobootevenwithrecoverydisk-
windows.

What I suggest is that the option is greyed out on windows partitions.
For specialists like me :-) there could be an expert menu  (marked with
a skull) .
