This happened again last night. I used the touchpad disable (it's a habit that I'm having trouble breaking), and when I re-enabled it, the mouse could move around, but I couldn't type anywhere or register clicks on anything.
I had to break out into a console (ctrl-alt-f1), from which I tried doing a gdm restart, which didn't help. I rebooted, and when the machine came up, I couldn't move the mouse. Tried another gdm restart (which has worked once in the past), but nothing. Another reboot and I got my mouse back. -- HP touchpad-disable switch damages mouse and focus capability https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/546503 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
