I have just this problem, but I want to add some information: It is not a Nautilus problem, but a sshfs problem. If I try to make any modification on the remote filesystem, that is not possible, even from the console. Nautilus is just suffering the same problem as the rest of applications.
I do not agree with the Low level assigned as importance level. In our company, we usually work on remote filesystems mounted by means of sshfs. We have just updated some computers from 8.04 to 10.04 and these are now useless for that kind of tasks. In my opinion, such kind of bug must be resolved before the final 10.04 version is out. I have observed this bug in Ubuntu 10.04 beta 1 + updates to the current date. uname: Linux 2.6.32-18-generic #27-Ubuntu SMP Fri Mar 26 19:51:10 UTC 2010 i686 GNU/Linux lsb_release: Distributor ID: Ubuntu Description: Ubuntu lucid (development branch) Release: 10.04 Codename: lucid -- sshfs mounts cannot be written https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/548754 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
