Binary package hint: gnome-shell
Latest version from Ricotz's PPA running on latest Lucid Beta.
When in the zoomed out-mode – I'll call it Activity view – none of the
items in the top right panel are clickable. You can not log out, change
system preferences etc. from there.
They seem to be completely inactive there because not even the tooltips
are shown.
The clock and calendar work though.
