Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: grace

There is a bug that affects all programs that depend on Open Motif. The
bug and fix can be found here :

https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=543647

Basically, right-clicking within a menu traps the cursor. The user must
switch to a text console to kill the app and regain control of the
desktop.

This bug appeared for me after a recent update of Kubuntu 10.04 Beta1.
