I had something similar happen while running Firefox 3.6, 10.04 AMD64 Beta1 with all possible updates applied. A flash object apparently triggered the crash while viewing a blog at blogs.zdnet.com.
I have a question with a suggestion. Why is it that apport manages to leave out a report that seems to be vital in these instances? If apport is installed, why aren't such contingencies anticipated? Shouldn't such debugging software as vagrind and backtrace be already installed as part of the dependencies and packages being pulled in by an apport based metapackage? BTW, I have no idea if the attachments generated by apport are going to get uploaded here or not since I'm not filing a new bug report. Could that be one of the reasons you see so many duplicate bug reports? -- npviewerbin crashed https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/507251 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
