If you compile your own PulseAudio, you get to handle all the bugs associated with it. Please don't file bugs about default Ubuntu systems unless you're actually using the versions of programs as distributed from the Ubuntu repository. :-)
With Phonon, it is a well-known issue that because Kubuntu chooses not to ship PA in 10.04 LTS, you will need to configure Phonon yourself. That means: KDE System Settings > Multimedia > choose PulseAudio and place it at the top (highest priority). I'm happy to convert this bug report into a question if you'd like further assistance, but using non-Ubuntu-distributed versions tends to screw things up royally. -- [regression] After Karmic Update integration ALSA+PULSEAUDIO is problematic https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/478014 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
