Binary package hint: plasma-desktop
OpenDesktop/SocialDesktop Activities 0.1 plasmoid crashes plasma-desktop
package on KDE 4.4.1 and 4.4.2.
Tested on Kubuntu 9.10 + KDE 4.4.1 from Kubuntu PPA Backports and Kubuntu 10.04
(2010-04-01 and 2010-04-02) with KDE 4.4.2.
Video cards: ATI Radeon R3xx series (Radeon 9600 and X300) with open source
radeon driver: 6.12.99 on 9.10 and 6.12.192-2ubuntu2 on 10.04.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Add OpenDesktop Activites plasmoid on desktop, configure it with user and
password.
2. Logout from KDE
3. Login again to KDE
4. Type password in Kwallet dialog for plasma-desktop
5. plasma-desktop keeps crashing continuosly few times.
Instead of logout and login you can disable/enable desktop effects by pressing
Meta+Shift+F12 (few times) to invoke plasma-desktop crash (it's not allways
crashing this way).
After removing this single plasmoid crashes are gone.
