Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: software-center
When installing a new package that conflicts with another already
installed package, Software Center will silently uninstall any
conflicting packages from the computer.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Start the Software Center
2. Install Miro
3. Exit the Software Center
4. Start the Software Center
5. Install Gourmet Recipe Manager
Results:
Miro is removed without any notification or prompt.
Expected results:
Software Center should inform the user that a conflict has been detected and
ask if they would like to continue with the installation or cancel.
