Binary package hint: vmware-player
after removing vmware-player the /etc/vmware directory is left intact.
were there a vmware-server .deb this would break it's installation.
as it is, it will break a vmware-server.deb built from alien as the
vmware-server preinstall script cannot deal with the existing
/etc/vmware dir.
