This bug did not affect "slower system". With X4 2.8GHz, 1333 Memclock here is more power than power than power. But a single peak is enough to trigger pulse and a player in a unbreakable loop.
Banshee goes to "futex-wait-queue" while pulse is sleeping. Pulse goes to "futex-wait-queue" while banshee stays in sleep. This is jumping nice around but no sound appears. This is somewhat ugly and the fix described at http://wiki.ubuntuusers.de/Pulseaudio is not working at 9.10 amd64. We finally need a higher prio at pulse to deal with simple playing sounds. -- Regression: Pulseaudio priority set to 0 in Karmic https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/484278 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
