Public bug reported:
This bug already existed in Dapper, Edgy and now in the Feisty alpha, too.
The sound card is a Aureal Vortex and the used driver (I think it's the driver
- could be model name, bur I don't think so) is au8820.
BUG:
A programm using sound is running, after it's closed no other app will be able
to send sound to the driver.
DMESG tells this: I think this is the bug, because this appears each time it
bugs...

To reproduze try playing a flv 'stolen' from youtube.com with mplayer
use arrows keys a few times and soon sound driver should crash (-;
