I haven't tried reinstalling mc. In fact, I can't exactly recall why I tried installing it in the first place. It was probably part of an rtorrent installation attempt.
In any case, the problem appeared with other packages. I got around it by renaming '/usr/share/locale/pt_BR' to '/usr/share/locale/pt_BRx'. Now packages install just fine. -- Following this guide (http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1064377&highlight=wtorrent) package mc (not installed) failed to install/upgrade: trying to overwrite '/usr/share/locale/pt_BR', which is also in package apt 0:0.7.23.1ubuntu2 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/524198 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
