I have done it from point four. I seem to not have the "syncdaemon- exceptions.log" file so I only attach the other one.
I was not aware that I am running the beta version. I actually just followed the instructions while installing it. There can be one difference and this might be what created the trouble, that I have installed goggle chrome as my browser and I made it to be the default browser. Thus during the install when some popup should have come up on firefox it did not show up on google chrome. Does that make sense? Anyhow, I attach the log and then you can see. Thanks for your time.
