Hello. As per request from Jeremy Foshee the above logs are attached from the "apport-collect -p linux 453996" command.
I'm not quite ready to test development builds right now, yet in Ubuntu 9.10 with all latest official updates applied - the problem is still there. I believe nothing has been done to get it resolved so hopefully the attached logs might help.
