My settings have the "phone number" set to *99# and the APN set to
3internet. With it set to autoconnect, all I have to do is plug my BB
dongle in and the connection is made.
>From a simple google I have found Vodafone UK settings may be as follows:
* APN: internet (or pp.vodafone.co.uk if you're using prepay)
* Username: web
* Password: web
* Session type: Continuous / permanent
* Authentication: Normal
* Security: Off
