I can print over the network to a Brother HL-5150 hooked to another PC.

Starting printing a testpage from KDE-Systemsettings -
tail -f /var/log/messages:

Mar 17 08:55:35 nc6400 hpiod: removing usblp driver interface=0 for

Mar 17 08:55:45 nc6400 OfficeJet_G85?serial=SGE0710Q0KVL: INFO: open print
channel failed; will retry in 30 seconds...

I tried cups restart/reconfigure and hplip restart/reconfigure.
Connecting the printer either to hp:// or usb:// makes no difference.

Why do I see the message "usblp0: removed" after starting a print job?
